Resulting from Environmental Impact Assessment procedure, monitoring plans have to be carried out to determine how target species respond to the construction and operation phases of the wind energy project. Studies have to show if foreseen impacts have happened, such as the ones identified/quantified in the Environmental Impact Study, or if unpredicted impacts are occurring.
