This project is developed on a mountainous community land belonging to the parish of Peva, Moimenta da Beira, district of Viseu. The project area is partly occupied by pine stands, some young oak stands and shrublands. 

The project covers a total area of about 139 ha. A contract between the Conselho Diretivo dos Baldios Terras de Alquilino Ribeiro and ACHLI was signed. During the validity of the contract several interventions will be carried out with the aim to protect existing forest stands and improve habitat conditions. These interventions may include fuel management, reforestations, stand thinning, etc.
