The Alto Minho restricted hunting zone covers part of two hunting zones - Sistelo Municipal Hunting Zone (ZCM), managed by the parish council of Sistelo and Gave Municipal Hunting Zone (ZCM), run by Veranda da Aveleira - Aldeia turística - Association of tourism promotors.

The Alto Minho restricted hunting zone covers a total area of 444 ha distributed by both hunting zones as follows: ZCM of Sistelo 274 ha and  ZCM of Gave 170 ha.
